＜ Notice of loan service in the JF Japanese Language Institute, Kansai Library ~ on a trial basis ~ ＞
JF Japanese Language Institute, Kansai Library is specialized library whose purpose is to support the learning of Japanese language trainees.
We will start loan service as follows, since the training of this center has been postponed due to COVID-19. (Usually, visitors can only read books in the library.）
The service starts on the 24th (Mon) August, 2020.
Users : anybody 18 years of age or over living in Japan.
( Residents or workers in Tajiri-cho can borrow up to 10 books. )
Lending : up to 5 books, for 2 weeks
(You can extend the period only once, as long as there is no reservation.)
※ Some books and audio-visual materials cannot be borrowed.
※Please bring an identification card that indicates your address and apply it at the library counter. Those who has the library card below can request books of Kansai library from each library.

This service may be reduced or terminated when the training of this center is resumed.
The Library has a wide range collection on Japanese society and culture to help the participants study.

The library is open to those who are 18 years old and over.

Registration may be made at the Information Desk of the Library.
1. Access to the Collection
The entire collection is open-access. Library catalog(OPAC) is available for finding books.
A loan service is provided only through Inter-Library Loan System.
*Please ask at the library of your affiliated organization, or at the public libraries for borrowing books.
*Residents or workers in Tajiri-cho can borrow books at the Information Desk.
3. Copy Service
Only materials in the Library may be copied, but only within the limits allowed by Japanese copyright laws.
- Self-service photocopies are available for 10yen per sheet. Please fill in the "Photocopy Request Form" at the Information Desk.
- Inter-Library photocopy service is also available. Please ask at the library of your affiliated organization, or at the public libraries.

Library provides research help to assist your teaching, research and other activities.
